Established in 2005, Leopold is the Melbourne based menswear label coveted for its refreshing blend of the traditional with the contemporary. Winners of the 2009 Australian Fashion Awards for Best Menswear Designer, Leopold has quickly established itself at the forefront of Australian menswear. Leopold’s relaxed, elegant style defines itself in rich fabrics, unexpected details, fine tailoring and bold colours. Renowned for attention to detail, and tailoring, Leopold’s collections appeal to a broad range of style-conscious people who are looking for something a little out of the ordinary. 

PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy at Leopold is simple, you get what you pay for. Sure, we cost a tad more, but you can rest assured knowing that your Leopold garment has been made locally using only the finest European fabrics and manufactured locally using old-school tailors and seamstresses.

As Vivienne Westwood says: "Buy less, choose well." At Leopold, we think that you should save up and buy a quality product rather than a throw away piece. This season again, the majority of the Leopold collection has been made in Australia (actually about ten minutes up the road from our studio).

If that's not enough to give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside, then you should also know that each garment has a limited run of no more than 50 worldwide which means you won't look like a carbon copy of everyone else. And lastly, realise that you have invested in a quality garment that will last more than one season.

New to Leopold, is our Made To Order service. Come in to Leopold’s Empire and our experienced staff will fit you for your new suit. Choose the fit, fabric, buttons and lapels. All finishes can be customised to your requirements. And within 3-4 weeks you will have the perfect suit. Please call to make an appointment.
